I was born to be an entrepreneur and it took me a few years to figure out that it would be in health and fitness. At a young age, I was constantly in all sorts of sports and extracurricular activities which allowed me to eat whatever and whenever I wanted without the scale going up. It wasn’t until 2012 where I learned about meal prepping and nutrition.
My previous mentally was “Train 110% and eat whatever you want” but that shifted to “Your health is 80% diet and 20% training” when I learned how important it is to feed your body the right nutrition. However, for a few years it was extremely difficult to stay healthy when I “didn’t have time” or “bought lunch/dinner” instead of cooking.
That’s when I was introduced to meal prepping from a friend. At first it was difficult because I did not know where to start or what to cook… but after many hours in the kitchen, I’ve never stopped mealprepping. The money and time it saves me is only the second benefit of mealprepping because the first is I get to be what I eat!
Investing in my health now rather than in medical bills later by eating healthy and exercising keeps my life balance and happy. As an entrepreneur, you never know where you will be or when you will eat. So save time and money by spending a few hours once a week to prep and never miss a meal. You don’t want to be stuck with a last minute hangry choice of McDonalds.
