With so many options, which bars are best? Well, it really depends on your goals. Here is a breakdown of popular bars to help you make the best decision.
Low Fat- These bars have under 8g of fat!
Quest Bar– Most bars are around about 7g fat
Nugo Bar– This one only has 5g of fat. This is not a very well-known bar but we were impressed when we saw those numbers! It is available at Whole Foods.
Pure Protein Bar– The salted chocolate caramel flavor only has 5g fat! Other flavors go up to 8g, but are still very low fat.
Low Carb- These bars have under 23g of carbohydrates!
Quest Bar– Overall low carb. Mint Chocolate Chunk and Peanut Butter only have 21g carbs. Some flavors have higher carb; strawberry cheesecake has 26g carbs
Powercrunch Bar– Triple Chocolate has a very impressive 10g carbs and Vanilla Crunch has 14. Great choice if you are watching your carbs.
